Debris from demolition projects are sometimes used at the edge of the shoreline to stave off erosion, so in certain sections of some of the beaches I visit there are bricks and other construction materials littering the beach. In some cases, these were sites of illegal dumping. I always keep my eyes out for bricks that either carry the manufacturer's logo or other codes that seem mysterious.
