It was just after Halloween in 2020 and I'd walked past these corn husks two or three weekends in a row. Finally I picked it up and stuck it in my bag, thinking it was unlikely to work in a design but that I'd give it a shot anyhow, or maybe just throw it away when I got home. When combined with all of the other earth tones, it almost seems to be coming back to life.
