This piece was designed for a good friend on the day he began chemotherapy treatments in the summer of 2022. There wasn't much I could do to actually help him, so I turned my attention to composing this piece with objects that represented meaningful things I wished for him as he worked through the process. Though he died as a result of cancer, he was a democratically charitable man and an ardent supporter of the Les Turner ALS Foundation. Net proceeds from all sales of this piece will be donated to that organization.
