The objects in this composition - brick and bones - were all found on July 28, 2022, at a spot on the Chicago lakefront I'd first discovered exactly three years earlier. I didn't set out to design it this way but the pieces just seemed to fit together in this layout, with the fish bones circling around the mysteriously labeled brick chunk. The title came from an Anders Parker song lyric.
